In her comment on my last post, Bevin mentioned the winter/summer dichotomy that often defines Edmonton, and another season, fall, which is often overlooked as a result. So, here you are Bevin, and other Edmontonians - taken October 2, 2010, in the height of autumn colour.
"Pretty" Autumn is far, far too short out here. Often, the leaves change colour and fall so quickly, that the beauty is hardly around long enough to make an impression, which is really disappointing.
ReplyDeleteThough, it lasts just long enough for me to crave its beauty again each year.
ReplyDeleteAutumn is an amazing season in Edmonton.
ReplyDeleteThe crisp clean air streaking across your face and yet you have the ability to keep your body warm.
The colours are so gorgeous.
Well-put.
